Untethered from phones and technology, the 13-year-old girls of Camp Wyldwood learn the skills and survival strategies they need to navigate the wilderness of growing up. The seven girls in Maple Cabin start their summers with private intentions that soon turn to public manifestations as secret rituals form, hidden crushes surface, and new alliances spark and splinter.

As they move between terrorizing and taking care of one another, the girls hone their survival instincts to understand that growing up isn’t a single moment, but a series of small, sometimes bloody, reckonings with the world, each other, and themselves.

Step inside this funky secondhand bookshop, where the shelves lean in and the books call out. Whimsy and tall tales, uncomfortable histories and personal truths, sweet scribbles in the margins and forgotten voices are all hiding here, waiting to be uncovered. This collectively devised new play by the UARK MFA Theatre Cohort in collaboration with Tectonic Theater Project was inspired by visits to Dickson Street Bookshop, and by all the independent community spaces that keep stories alive. 

(2 Actors, 1W 1NB/TGNC. 45 Minutes) Francis and Mom are in a car. It’s moving. How was school today? Side by Side drives and shifts through time, life, school, queerness, the relationship between mother and child, and how far apart the passenger and driver's seats can be from one another.

(4 Actors, 2W, 1M, 1TGNC 1.5 Hours) Eldest child Roy returns to their childhood home in the wake of the death of the family pet turtle, Tinkle, and is met with a hysterically grieving mother and a sister looking for an escape. After hearing of their mother’s plans to throw an elaborate and over-the-top funeral, will the sibling duo be able to put a stop to the event without shattering the family apart?

(2 Actors, 2M, Absurdist Comedy) You are cordially invited to Bev and Daryl's All Hallow's Eve Soiree! Or, you're at least invited to spend Halloween night with them on their porch! As old married couple Beverly and Daryl hand out candy to trick-or-treaters, they reminisce on Halloween's past, present, and future.

(3 Actors, 3M) Oll and Fain, two moonshiners, are wandering the Ozark woods looking for a place to peddle their jugs of firewater when they come upon a mysterious and finely dressed man. When he makes an offer they can't refuse, the pair realizes they may be in over their head, and really, really drunk.

(7-12 Actors, 2M, 1TGNC, 2W, 3+ Any) After his father’s death, estranged child Silas returns to his home and family farm in rural Arkansas. Silas decides to take it upon themselves to fix up the dilapidated home with the help of their former classmate and charming farmhand, Ezra. The two begin to sweep away the cobwebs and deal with the ghosts both inside of the home and Silas’ past.
